The New England Patriots canceled the final two days of offseason organized team activities which were scheduled for Monday and Tuesday, NFL Network’s Mike Giardi reports.
The Pats conducted mandatory minicamp last week. Canceling the last two weeks of OTAs from the wake suggests Bill Belichick was pleased with the job they got within this offseason.
Teams are allocated 10 voluntary OTAs throughout a four-week span. The Patriots scheduled seven these sessions. After devoting this week’s final two, New England ran five OTAs and 3 days of minicamp to conclude its spring workout.
Next time we’ll see the Super Bowl champions is at training camp in late July.
Happy summer rest, Patriots.
