Billy Joe Saunders will defend his WBO super-middleweight title against Marcelo Esteban Coceres in the Staples Center.

When he gets his US debut about the Paul 2 bill, which will be live on Sky Sports Box 27,, saunders will tackle the heavy-handed Argentinian.
The 29-year-old (28-0, KOs 13) became a two-weight world winner if he claimed the vacant title in a unanimous decision over Shefast Isufi from Stevenage in May.
I am really looking forward to battling in LA and making my specialist American debut and my first fight under the Matchroom umbrella, said Saunders.
Marcelo Esteban Coceres is really a demanding, world-class operator, an unbeaten fighter and I definitely feel the pressure to outperform him and look good on such a huge platform. Training is going well, I just have to stay focused and get the work finished.

Promoter Eddie Hearn stated:I cant wait to watch Billy Joe shine stateside and what a enormous platform to do it. He is right in the mix for all the huge fights in 2020 but he cant slip up here and if he could make an impression against Coceres afterward I believe he will land a monster at the first half next year
The 28-year-old was held to a draw at his next fight, although coceres is also undefeated 15 within the distance, with 28 victories.
El Terrible will also fight in America for the first time and will move around 168lbs.
