Sevilla have signed striker Javier Hernandez on a deal from West Ham United for an additional fee.
The Mexico forward handed in a transfer request on Friday and had flown to Spain for a medical.
Hernandez’s Hammers potential was uncertain following club record signing Sebastien Haller from Eintracht Frankfurt in July’s arrival.
Hernandez was signed by west Ham out of Bundesliga side Bayer Leverkusen for #16m in 2017.
A start to this year for Manuel Pellegrini’s side, along with Hernandez with less than a year convinced the player’s request to leave to be agreed to by the Hammers.
The former Manchester United ahead made 55 Premier League appearances for the Hammers, scoring 16 goals, such as one this year.
“The team would like to thank Chicharito for his contribution and wish him all the very finest in his future profession,” a West Ham statement mentioned.
